Perhaps the most celebrated and recognizable of the series is the Up5_Up6, which has become an icon in the history of design. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Up5_Up6, B&B Italia has issued a special edition of this classic, now available in silver upholstery and personalized serial number.
The chair, in the shape of a woman with a ''ball and chain'' ottoman attached is a commentary on the subjugation of women, and effectively represents the boldness of that era.
